About Master of Science in Computational Science
The Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computational Science (CSCI) at the University of South Carolina Beaufort provides students with a deep understanding of advanced computational methods and their application in solving real-world problems across various fields, including physical, biological, and engineering sciences. Students will learn to use mathematical modeling, simulation, and data analysis to tackle complex problems. The program combines coursework in mathematics, computer science, and science with hands-on experience in high performance computing, scientific visualization, and machine learning.
Program Structure
- The MS in Computational Science course is a 2 year Full Time Masters Program.
- The first three years, Students will be part of the Mumbai University, In these 3 years students will complete B.Sc. I.T. program at Vidyalankar School of Information Technology (VSIT).
- Students will be taught B.Sc. I.T. courses all Semester (Sem 1 to Sem 6) under guidelines of The University of South Carolina Beaufort.
- After successful completion B.Sc. I.T. program students can opt to transfer directly to University of South Carolina Beaufort for Masters.
- Upon successfully completing the program, the students are awarded the Masters of Computational Science degree by the University.
