Campus
Situated on 76 hectares in the leafy Christchurch suburb of Ilam, the UC campus is a beautiful space to learn in. The Ilam campus is the central hub where learning and living are combined. It houses teaching and learning facilities, accommodation and leisure activities all together. With expansive green spaces and gardens, UC builds off the natural beauty by which it is surrounded. This includes Christchurch’s iconic Avon river which meanders alongside University Drive through the campus. The campus contains four libraries as well as computer suites with 24-hour access, lecture theatres, laboratories and studios.
City Conditions
Christchurch is the largest city in the South Island of New Zealand and the seat of the Canterbury Region. Christchurch lies on the South Island’s east coast, just north of Banks Peninsula on Pegasus Bay. The Avon River / Ōtākaro flows through the centre of the city, with an urban park along its banks. The city’s territorial authority population is 389,300 people, and includes a number of smaller urban areas as well as rural areas. The population of the urban area is 377,900 people. Christchurch is the second-largest city by urban area population in New Zealand, after Auckland.

About Bachelor of Commerce

Program Structure
- The BCom course is a 3 year Full Time Bachelor's Program.
- Vidyalankar will teach the First - 3 Semesters of the Program as per guidelines given by University of Canterbury.
- After successful completion of 3 semesters at VSIT Bcom/BMS program students can opt to transfer to University of Canterbury. Such students are accepted by University of Canterbury, directly into the 4th sem of BCom.
- After Successfully completion of all 3 Years Students will get Bachelor of Commerce degree from University of Canterbury.
